The last red lanterns have been hung, the tangerine trees are out, the train tickets are bought. Soon it will be Chinese New Year, and China Tea Leaves 西安 Xi’an will be released.

We will be counting down these last few days until Chinese New Year on January 31 by looking at a few more treasures Xi’an has to offer, and some of the symbols and traditions of Chinese New Year.
